Ingredients

2 tablespoons baking powder
1 tablespoon bicarbonate of soda
6 tablespoons fine ginger
2 tablespoons cinnamon
1 cup sugar

250g melted butter
2 beaten eggs
60ml golden syrup

Instructions

1. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl: flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, ginger, cinnamon, and sugar.
2. Whisk wet ingredients: melted butter, eggs, and golden syrup.
3. Mix wet ingredients into the dry mixture to form a smooth dough.
4. Roll out the dough to the desired thickness, cut with cookie cutters.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (340°F) for 15–20 minutes.
6. Cool biscuits on a wire rack and serve.

Notes
