- 1 wheel of brie cheese
- 2 apples, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 baguette, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add sliced apples and cook until they begin to soften.
- Stir in brown sugar, thyme, lemon juice, and salt. Cook until the apples are caramelized.
- Place the brie in a small baking dish, and top with the caramelized apple mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, until the brie is soft and gooey.
- Serve warm with sliced baguette.
Notes
- For a sweeter touch, consider adding pecans or walnuts on top of the apples before baking.
- This dish can also be served with crackers for added crunch.
