- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle olive oil over the meatballs and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
- In a skillet, sauté the mushrooms in the remaining olive oil until golden brown.
- Add the heavy cream, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet, stirring to combine.
- Once the meatballs are cooked, add them to the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot over pasta or with crusty bread.
Notes
- For added richness, use a mixture of beef and pork.
- Feel free to add your favorite herbs and spices to the meatball mixture for more flavor.
