Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and arrange the graham crackers in a single layer.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until combined.
- Add the vanilla extract and bring the mixture to a boil, then let it bubble for 3 minutes.
- Pour the caramel mixture over the graham crackers evenly, spreading with a spatula.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until bubbling.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle chocolate chips on top, and let them melt for a few minutes.
- Spread the melted chocolate evenly, and sprinkle with nuts if desired.
- Let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
