- 6 cups cubed day-old bread
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup granulated sugar

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the cubed bread and milk. Let sit for 10 minutes to soak.
- In another bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the egg mixture into the soaked bread and mix well.
- Add raisins if using and stir to combine.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the pudding is set in the center.
- Let cool slightly before serving.

- Serve warm with a drizzle of cream or a scoop of ice cream.
- You can substitute milk with almond milk for a dairy-free option.
