Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cubed bread, milk, and cream; let it sit for about 15 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Mix the egg mixture into the bread mixture until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 45-50 minutes, until set.
  6. While baking, prepare the vanilla sauce by whisking together some sugar, cream, and vanilla in a pot over medium heat until warm.
  7. Serve the bread pudding warm, drizzled with the vanilla sauce.
