- 1 ½ cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped cream
- ½ cup crème de menthe liqueur
- ½ cup green food coloring
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold in whipped cream and crème de menthe until fully combined.
- Add green food coloring to achieve the desired color, mixing well.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared crust and smooth out the top.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Before serving, sprinkle chocolate chips on top as garnish.
Notes
- Make sure the cheesecake is well chilled before serving for the best texture.
- Substitute crème de menthe with peppermint extract for a non-alcoholic version.
