- 1 pound flank steak
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture onto the flank steak.
- Grill the steak for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
- Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- In a separate bowl, mix avocado, lime juice, cilantro, and tomatoes to make the salsa.
- Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Assemble the tacos by layering sliced steak and avocado salsa on the tortillas.
Notes
- For spicier tacos, add jalapeños to the avocado salsa.
- Feel free to use other cuts of steak if preferred.
