- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 8 corn tortillas
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/2 small red onion, diced
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and salt.
- Rub the spice mixture onto the flank steak.
- Grill the steak for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
- Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.
- Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Assemble the tacos by placing some steak on each tortilla, then top with avocado, lime juice, cilantro, and red onion.
Notes
- Let the steak marinate in the spice rub for an hour for extra flavor.
- Serve with lime wedges on the side.
