- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and cook until softened.
- Stir in garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the beef mixture with uncooked rice, diced tomatoes, and beef broth.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and cover with foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted.
