- 1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
- Add melted butter and mix well.
- Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together baking soda, salt, and flour.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and fold gently.
- Incorporate crushed pineapple, shredded coconut, and chopped walnuts.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before slicing.
Notes
- For a tropical twist, consider adding macadamia nuts or swapping out walnuts.
- This banana bread is best enjoyed fresh but can also be toasted for a flavorful breakfast.
