- 6 Hawaiian rolls
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 6 slices turkey bacon
Instructions
- Preheat your griddle or skillet over medium heat.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and maple syrup.
- Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half and dip each half into the egg mixture, allowing to soak briefly.
- Cook the soaked rolls on the griddle until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- In a separate pan, cook the turkey bacon until crispy.
- Serve the French toast warm, topped with turkey bacon.
Notes
- For added sweetness, drizzle with extra maple syrup before serving.
- Can substitute regular bacon if preferred.
