Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the cooked beef, uncooked rice, beef broth, mushroom soup, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
