Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, remove from heat and stir in flour until smooth.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool slightly before adding eggs and vanilla. Mix until fully combined.
  4. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
  5. Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
  6. Squeeze strips of dough into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Remove churros and drain on paper towels.
  8. Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a bowl, then coat the churros while still warm.
