Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract.
- Mix until smooth and well combined.
- If desired, add food coloring to the mixture and blend until evenly colored.
- Using your hands, form small balls of the mint mixture and roll them in granulated sugar to coat.
- Place the coated mints on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Let them sit at room temperature for a few hours until set.
- Store in an airtight container.
Notes
- For a different flavor, substitute peppermint extract with other extracts like spearmint or almond.
- These mints make great gifts when packaged in a decorative box.
