  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 pack egg roll wrappers
  • vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add ground pork and cook until browned.
  2. Add cabbage, carrots, and green onions; stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in soy sauce and mix well; remove from heat.
  4. Lay an egg roll wrapper flat on a clean surface. Place a generous amount of filling in the center.
  5. Fold the bottom over the filling, then fold the sides in, and roll tightly.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the egg rolls until golden brown on all sides.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with soy sauce.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, add some bean sprouts to the filling.
  • Serve with sweet and sour sauce for dipping.
