- 1 pound ground pork
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup carrots, shredded
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 pack egg roll wrappers
- vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add ground pork and cook until browned.
- Add cabbage, carrots, and green onions; stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in soy sauce and mix well; remove from heat.
- Lay an egg roll wrapper flat on a clean surface. Place a generous amount of filling in the center.
- Fold the bottom over the filling, then fold the sides in, and roll tightly.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the egg rolls until golden brown on all sides.
- Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with soy sauce.
Notes
- For extra crunch, add some bean sprouts to the filling.
- Serve with sweet and sour sauce for dipping.
