  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, onion, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  4. Bake for 1 hour or until cooked through.
  5. In a skillet, sauté sliced mushrooms until golden brown.
  6. Add heavy cream to the mushrooms and simmer until thickened.
  7. Serve meatloaf with mushroom gravy on top.

Notes

  • Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
