Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups ripe peaches, peeled and diced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced peaches and sugar, and let them sit for about 30 minutes to release their juices.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, vanilla extract, and lemon juice.
- Add the peach mixture to the cream mixture and stir until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Once churned, transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a smoother texture, blend the peach mixture before adding it to the cream.
- Feel free to add chunks of peach during the churning process for extra fruitiness.
