Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, water, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Once boiling, reduce heat and let it simmer until it reaches 260°F (hard ball stage).
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and food coloring.
  4. Pour onto a greased surface and let cool slightly.
  5. Once cool enough to handle, pull the taffy until it becomes light in color and fluffy.
  6. Roll into logs and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  7. Wrap in wax paper and let set.
