- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 jar hot fudge sauce
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the granulated sugar until well combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
- Once the brownie base has cooled, spread the cheesecake mixture on top and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Before serving, heat the hot fudge sauce and drizzle over each slice, topping with chopped nuts if desired.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate cocoa powder.
- Allow cheesecake to set overnight for best results.
