- 3 cups sliced peaches
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the butter and mix until it’s crumbly.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the sliced peaches and brown sugar.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add a dash of cinnamon to the batter.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream for the perfect dessert.
