- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup honey
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and honey.
- In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add vanilla or lemon zest to the dough.
- These cookies can be dusted with powdered sugar after baking for added sweetness.
