These Jalapeño Popper Deviled Eggs are a delicious twist on a classic appetizer, featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham for added flavor.

Ingredients

  • 12 large eggs
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup finely chopped pickled jalapeños
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced chicken ham
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs, then let them cool and peel them.
  2. Slice the eggs in half, and carefully remove the yolks.
  3. In a bowl, mash the yolks and mix in mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, jalapeños, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Fold in the diced chicken ham and chopped cilantro.
  5. Pipe or spoon the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  6. Crumble the cooked turkey bacon on top and garnish with shredded cheese if desired.
  7. Chill before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add more jalapeños to the mixture.
  • These can be made a day in advance for easy entertaining.
