A delicious twist on classic jalapeño poppers, these egg rolls are filled with creamy cheese and turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 1 package egg roll wrappers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeños
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, turkey bacon, garlic powder, and onion powder until combined.
  2. Lay out an egg roll wrapper and place a tablespoon of the mixture in the center.
  3. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly.
  4. Brush the top with olive oil and repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  5. Fry in hot oil until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, add more jalapeños to the filling.
  • Serve with ranch or your favorite dipping sauce.
