Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 8 oz lump crab meat, drained and checked for shells
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
  2. In a bowl, blend softened cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth.
  3. Add shredded cheeses, lemon juice, Worcestershire, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Fold in crab meat and green onions gently.
  5. Spread into the prepared dish and bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  6. Serve warm with crackers, veggies, or toasted baguette slices.

Notes

  • Use fresh lump crab if available for best texture and flavor.
  • Make it ahead: assemble and refrigerate unbaked up to 24 hours.
