- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add vanilla extract.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
- In another bowl, combine pecans, corn syrup, brown sugar, and salt; pour over the cheesecake.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set.
- Let cool before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream on top for extra indulgence.
- For a chocolate twist, add chocolate chips into the cheesecake mixture.
