- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the flour and powdered sugar, then add the melted butter and combine.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x9 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- In another bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice, eggs, lemon zest, and salt.
- Pour the mixture over the cooled crust.
- Bake for an additional 20 minutes or until set.
- Let it cool completely before cutting into bars.
