Instructions

  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gently fold in the blueberries and lemon zest.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and egg.
  6. Pour the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and pat into a circle about 1 inch thick.
