Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg; mix until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, about 5 minutes.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough, spread lemon curd, and sprinkle lemon zest.
- Roll tightly, slice into rounds, and place in a baking dish.
- Let the rolls rise again for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350ยฐF for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool, then serve warm.
