Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, lemon zest, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the softened butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and spread lemon juice over it.
- Shape the dough into rolls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- For a stronger lemon flavor, increase lemon zest.
- These rolls are best served warm.
