Loaded Cheesesteak Garlic Bread: Indulgent Twist on a Classic

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Italian bread
  • 1 pound ribeye steak, sliced thin
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup onion, sliced
  • 2 cups provolone cheese, shredded
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onions and bell peppers until soft.
  3. Add the sliced steak to the skillet and cook until browned, then stir in garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in parsley, salt, and pepper.
  5. Slice the Italian bread in half and scoop out some of the bread from the center.
  6. Layer the steak mixture on the bread and top with shredded provolone cheese.
  7. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add sautéed mushrooms or jalapeños.
  • Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
