  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1 cup bourbon
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Place chicken thighs in a large resealable bag, pour marinade over the chicken, and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade and cook for 5-7 minutes per side until browned.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch and water. Add to the remaining marinade and bring to a boil.
  5. Simmer for a few minutes until thickened, then pour over the chicken in the skillet. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
