- 12 manicotti shells
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup diced chicken ham
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the manicotti shells according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, turkey bacon, chicken ham, egg, garlic powder, and Italian herbs. Mix until well blended.
- Stuff each manicotti shell with the cheese mixture.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange the stuffed manicotti on top.
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, omit the turkey bacon and chicken ham.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge.
