- 3 pounds potatoes
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel and chop the potatoes, then boil them until tender.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add milk, butter, cheddar cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the potatoes and mash until smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle with crumbled turkey bacon and green onions.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until heated through and slightly golden on top.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding more cheese or spices to the mixture.
- Leftovers can be reheated in the oven or microwave.
