Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine sugar and melted butter.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
- Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Add peppermint extract and chocolate chips, folding into the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Remove from oven, let cool, then cut into squares.
Notes
- For extra mint flavor, consider adding crushed mint candies on top.
