  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 2 cups

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 jalapeño, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 packet pectin
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the mixed berries, honey, chopped jalapeño, lemon juice, and salt.
  2. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the berries break down and the mixture is bubbly.
  3. Add pectin and stir for 1-2 minutes until fully dissolved.
  4. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and pour into sterilized jars, sealing them while hot.
  6. Allow to cool at room temperature before storing in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • This jam can be adjusted for sweetness by adding more or less honey.
  • For a milder flavor, remove the seeds from the jalapeño before chopping.
