- 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 jalapeño, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 packet pectin
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the mixed berries, honey, chopped jalapeño, lemon juice, and salt.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the berries break down and the mixture is bubbly.
- Add pectin and stir for 1-2 minutes until fully dissolved.
- Bring the mixture to a rolling boil and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and pour into sterilized jars, sealing them while hot.
- Allow to cool at room temperature before storing in the refrigerator.
Notes
- This jam can be adjusted for sweetness by adding more or less honey.
- For a milder flavor, remove the seeds from the jalapeño before chopping.
