Ingredients

- 1 pound flank steak, sliced thinly
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss the flank steak with cornstarch and set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak and cook until browned. Remove from pan.
- In the same pan, add soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes and stir.
- Return the steak to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.
Notes
- For extra flavor, let the beef marinate in the soy sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Serve with rice or noodles for a complete meal.
