Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel and core the apples, then cut them into eighths.
- Roll each apple slice in a piece of crescent dough.
- Place the wrapped apples in a greased baking dish.
- In a saucepan, combine Mountain Dew, sugar, and cinnamon; bring to a boil.
- Pour the mixture over the dumplings.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the dumplings are golden brown.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg to the sugar mixture.
