Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar; let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Mix in flour and salt until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a greased bowl, covered, for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Divide dough into pieces, flatten, and place mozzarella sticks, then seal.
- In a pot, bring water and baking soda to a boil.
- Boil each pretzel for about 30 seconds, then place on a baking sheet.
- Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sea salt.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
