- 4 large onions
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the onions into thick rings and separate them.
- Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.
- Fill each onion ring with mozzarella cheese.
- Dip each stuffed ring in flour, then egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Drizzle the garlic butter over the baked onion rings.
- Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add minced herbs to the breadcrumb mixture.
