- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup fresh key lime juice
- 1 tsp lime zest
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and lime zest until smooth.
- Pour the filling into the prepared crust and spread evenly.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Spread the whipped cream over the pie filling.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
- Garnish with additional lime zest if desired.
Notes
- For a more intense lime flavor, use additional lime zest.
- This pie can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
