Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1/4 cup sliced pepperoni

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or stovetop pan over medium heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, cooked, chopped turkey bacon, mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into four equal patties.
  4. Grill the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until cooked through.
  5. During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with pepperoni and a slice of mozzarella cheese, allowing the cheese to melt.
  6. Toast the burger buns on the grill if desired.
