- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon red food coloring
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 10 Oreo cookies
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar until combined.
- Add eggs, vanilla extract, and red food coloring; mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in half of the crushed Oreo cookies.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and layer with whole Oreo cookies. Top with the remaining batter and smooth out.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing into squares.
Notes
- For an extra decadent treat, serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
