- 2 chicken breasts
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup honey mustard
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and sauté until translucent.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place them in the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side.
- Remove chicken and layer with turkey bacon and sautéed onions.
- Drizzle honey mustard over the top and sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in honey mustard overnight.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
