Ingredients

  • 8 breakfast sausage links
  • 2 cups pancake mix
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the sausage links in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Remove and slice.
  3. In a bowl, mix pancake mix, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and maple syrup until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the batter into a greased baking dish, layer with sausage slices, and top with remaining batter.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pancake bake is puffed and golden.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Drizzle with additional syrup if desired.
