- 8 breakfast sausage links
- 2 cups pancake mix
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the sausage links in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Remove and slice.
- In a bowl, mix pancake mix, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and maple syrup until smooth.
- Pour half of the batter into a greased baking dish, layer with sausage slices, and top with remaining batter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pancake bake is puffed and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Drizzle with additional syrup if desired.
Notes
- For a sweeter version, add chocolate chips to the batter.
- Serve with fresh fruit for added flavor.
