Ingredients

- 3 cups sugar
- ¾ cup milk
- ½ cup butter
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, milk, and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it comes to a boil.
- Once boiling, continue to cook for 5 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips, vanilla, and nuts if using. Stir until smooth.
- Pour into a greased 9×13 inch pan and let cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
- You can add a pinch of salt to enhance the sweetness.
