- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the peanut butter, mashed banana, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the baking soda and salt, and mix until combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For best results, use ripe bananas.
- Store cookies in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
