- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, and melted butter until combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×9 inch baking pan to form the crust.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold it into the peanut butter mixture.
- Spread the peanut butter cheesecake mixture over the crust in the baking pan.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until firm.
- Cut into bars and serve chilled.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate cocoa powder.
- Allow the bars to sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving for easier slicing.
