Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, and melted butter until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×9 inch baking pan to form the crust.
  4. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold it into the peanut butter mixture.
  6. Spread the peanut butter cheesecake mixture over the crust in the baking pan.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  8. Cut into bars and serve chilled.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate cocoa powder.
  • Allow the bars to sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving for easier slicing.
