- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients and add vanilla extract.
- Spread the batter on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes.
- Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool.
- Once cooled, spread peanut butter evenly over the cake.
- Roll the cake carefully and place it seam side down on a serving plate.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and fold in chocolate chips. Spread over the cake.
- Chill before serving.
Notes
- For an extra indulgent touch, add chopped peanuts on top of the whipped cream.
- Make sure to roll the cake while it is still warm to prevent cracking.
