Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl, then press the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the baking pan.
  5. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the cream cheese layer, and sprinkle chopped pecans and brown sugar on top.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the center is set.
  7. Let cool, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark brown sugar instead of light brown sugar.
  • Top with additional caramel sauce before serving for an extra indulgent treat.
